Modern Hull Designs Were Made For Kiteboarding.
The ET gets an outline update this year, but continues to be based on a surf design that combines a straight, fast outline and a flat rocker. This combo makes the board ride bigger than it is, but still allows it to feel small and snappy without giving up the volume you need to be up and planing early. This board rides with even foot pressure and provides an easy balance point to make it excel in flat water freestyle as well as in surf up to about head high.
With a double concave running the length of the base, the ET tracks very well in the water even in the roughest conditions. This board should be ridden smaller than a traditional shortboard by 3"-5".
